CLOSING DOORS.

A lot of people associate death with negative connotations. Death is a part of life. Sometimes you need to find the next door to open in your life when the door of death occurs. Nothing lasts forever. People will never understand that death is just something nobody can change.

"To live in the hearts we left behind is not to die"

Being touched and moved by a person who has passed away, only makes their life more able to be rejoiced. You celebrate how you knew that person and what they meant to you. You celebrate all things good, so why can't people take death and turn it into a way of rejoicing someone elses life for what they were and what they stood for?

I lost my cousin September of 2009. Being only 19, I can only grow from situations like this. I never thought that I would lose MY cousin as a murder victim. MINE. I know it happens a lot, and I know that so many television shows shine light on situations like this, but it's never the same until you have to be put through it.

There's a lot of natural disasters and deaths happening lately...It's not at all happy, but people should try and find the good in things and realize that life goes on. Finding faith is a way to get over the pain. I found a new love for God, and it helps me get through things like this.

"the righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death."

HIDDEN TALENT.

There's no such thing as "hidden talent" when it comes to the internet these days. Everywhere you turn there's talent. If every talented person on the internet was able to make it big, there wouldn't be room for ANYBODY in the music business.

With that being said, I would like to introduce you to "Jon Jon". Here's a few of my favorite videos of him.

He can sing and dance. there's TONS of people on the internet who have talents like this, but sometimes it's just a personality that some people have that certain "like" factor about them.

Anyways, I like his personality a lot. He seems like a very humble dude. If you want to reach him, here's his links.

WHY YALL ALL ON WALE?

okay...i don't understand why this girl is so mad. is wale the only black rapper she listens to? i mean, i aint even seen the video or anything, but that's retarded.

she mentioned turning on bet tryna see black people, but isn't that like saying only white people should be on mtv? or vh1?

anyways, i don't think it's anybody's business what race ANYBODY has in their video, or photoshoot, or on their arm, ect.

nobody is saying anything to kanye about how he made a song with the line "gonna leave ya ass for a white girl" and then now has amber rose. smh. people are just....closed minded and shit.

i agree with many other bloggers when they said that there was more important things than race in a video.

RANDOM MUSIC/CELEBRITY THOUGHTS.

So, I think that I was driving twitter crazy with all these random ass music tweets....

I decided to compose this random ass blog post.

1. Ne-Yo you really need to sit your ass down. I feel like you fell off and maybe, just maybbbeeee you should stick to writing songs. Think on it.

2. Marques Houston. I'ma need you to sit down and quit poppin up with new wack tracks. Another thing, get your little friend Omarion offa ABDC. Thanks.

3. Chris, I can't wait until your mixtape drops tomorrow. That will be my best valentine's day gift, even though I'm still mad about you deleting your Twitter on my birthday. It'll be okay.

4. I kinda like Maino. I don't know if it's his weird ass voice or just I dunno, but he amuses me.

5. Who the fuck directed this We are the world bullshit? It's extreme garbage and Twitter now has the garbage juice all over my timeline AND the blogs I follow. Fuck.

6. I just heard Wacka Flocka for the first time. Jesus Christ who shot him and didn't take him out?!

7. Jason Derulo I like your lyrics, even if people do think you're gay.

8. Who is this? This new dude, Dubby or whatever the fuck his name is....I'm downloading his music, whoever he is, because I like his mixtape cover.

9. Cassidy always spits crack. Always has. He has bars for days.

10. Even though Fantasia can't read for shit, I like this song she released. She's got a powerful ass set of lungs.

11. I've always liked Lloyd. His southside song made me fall in love with his sessy ass. Anyways, if you don't love him, but haven't heard the Bedrock part 2, then you're slippin.

12. G5 the jett? He amuses me.

13. When is Christina Aguilera coming back? She's the illest. She really needs to get back into the industry.

14. Justin Beiber haters can you sit the fuck down. Obviously he's doing something right because he gots fans for days and hey, they play him on the all black radio stations. Kudos! That wasn't racist either, don't get your panties in a bunch, please.

15. Wiz Khalifa is coming to Omaha on March 9th.

PRECYSE?

I have a friend that actually hit me up out of left field asking me to listen and post some of his music. I honestly didn't MEAN to disreguard his email and my intentions were to actually do so, but life is life and it didn't get posted up.

NOW, he has another project that he's asking me to post. Now, if you read my blog, you'll know I'm all for supporting music for up and coming artists and people who are on their own grind because it starts within yourself. Anyways, this isn't a preaching post.

I listened to it. I can't tell you how much I adore music that isn't like any other music that's being put out. So, with that being said, I'm not going to try and convince you that his shit is good or anything like that. I just want you to download it and give it a listen. THEN, come back and comment this post and tell me what you
think. I honestly want feedback, and I'm sure he does too.

The Invisible Tape Of Soul

According to his email "i put my soul into this... Gambitt (producer) produced the whole project .. he has also taken part in Show tufli's "period" mixtape.... this project is more of an experience than it is anything else..."

CHRIS BROWN & TREY.

Despite the last post of the "Invented Head" song that will be on Chris' mixtape, this joint isn't so corny.

I think this song sounds hot. I like all the references that Chris and Trey throw in.

FAMILY TIES.

When it's all said and done, soemtimes you can't even trust your FAMILY. Sometimes they stab you right in the back just like the next person.

To me, I wonder how come trust is such a hard thing for some people. I wonder why people who are your BLOOD can't even keep it real with you or even have YOUR back. Is it really THAT hard to comprehend loyalty and honestly within your family tree?

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is...you can never honestly trust ANYONE. Some people say you can only trust your family, some say you can only trust the person who brought you into this world (your mother), and some say it's just you in the end. To me, I think it's just you. I've been betrayed by family, friends, and anyone in between. I don't think you can trust anybody. I know people who have been walked out on by their mothers, so you can't honestly trust them.

Is it hard for you to go through life wondering who you can trust? Is there ever a point in your life where you have to actually REALIZE that you can't trust anybody? Or do you just keep on pushin hopin that the last person who used your trust for wrong doings was just a fluke?

CHRIS BROWN- "I INVENTED HEAD"

Chris Brown has a mixtape comin out on February 14th (Valentine's Day).

I think the concept of "head" is corny, but I guess. It's something different from what we have been hearing from him and I'm glad he's finally pushing projects to show that he's still doin his thing. I've heard some of his more "rapping" styled verses and I like it. I'm looking forward to this mixtape.

LIL WAYNE & HAITI.

I don't even know where this was said at, but here's a quote from Weezy himself.

"I think it's amazing what's been done for Haiti, but I also think it's amazing what hasn't been done for New Orleans"

I agree.

Any natural disaster is a disaster in itself, BUT....this is a third world country we are talking about here. A country that had nothing before the earthquake. I'm not saying as a more "wealthy" and"good-standing" country that we shouldn't help them, but aren't we in something that's classified as a recession?

We have donated over money to Haiti then New Orleans has ever even seen and they are a part of us as the US. How does that even begin to make sense?

I don't mean to sound biased and shit, but it's not making sense to me at all. Hoe does New Orleans still have broken families, homes that haven't even been rebuilt, and yet we are now focused on helping this other country?
